Each benefit comes with specific coverage limits and sub-limits, which are the maximum amounts we’ll pay for a covered claim. These limits vary depending on the plan you choose and the specific benefit.
For ou single-trip international travel insurance plans, you have the option to choose between $0, $100, or $250 for the excess amount, which is what you contribute in the event of a claim. For our Australian domestic travel insurance, every plan includes $100 excess amount. Keep in mind, excess applies per person and per claim.
With our international medical benefit, you receive unlimited cover for up to 12 months for the treatment of a medical emergency, COVID-19 included, during your trip.
This also includes cover for transportation costs to the nearest adequate medical facility or home in the event of a medical emergency during the trip. This benefit is exclusive to our single-trip international travel insurance plans.
This benefit covers your pre-paid, non-refundable trip costs if you need to cancel or interrupt your trip for a covered reason. You have the option to opt out of this benefit at the time of purchase or select a sum insured amount.
This benefit can cover up to $200 per day ($50 for Domestic) and $2,000 per trip ($1,000 for Domestic) towards the cost of accommodation(s) when you are unexpectedly delayed for more than 6 hours.
You can opt out of this benefit or select a sum insured amount ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 ($1,000 to $5,000 for Domestic). This cover applies to baggage that is damaged, stolen, or accidentally lost during your trip. There is a single-item limit of $2,000 for International and $1,000 for Domestic. This pack also includes up to $300 for essential purchases when your luggage is delayed or misplaced for more than 12 hours.
Coverage up to $50,000 if you suffer accidental bodily injury during the trip which is the direct cause of your death or permanent total disablement. This benefit is only available with our single-trip international policies.
Coverage up to $2,500,000 if your negligence during the trip causes property damage or personal injury.
